On the glorious day of 29 August 23, St. Thomas’ School, Dwarka commemorated the birth anniversary of the legendary Hockey Player- Major Dhyan Chand who made India proud with his extraordinary sporting skills. This day held great significance as it was the time to cheer, to shine, to inspire, and to be inspired. The highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony graced by the popular and eminent IPL player Mr Lalit Yadav. The marvel achievers of 2022-23 at the Zonal level glistened and gleamed with joy as they received the awards from the famous dignitary. An inter-house sports meet was also organized for the students who delivered stellar performances with a great spirit of sportsmanship in different sports disciplines. The felicitation ceremony was a moment of pride and honor as these students excelled in different disciplines of sports at Zonal levels and showcased their sporting prowess across various zones. Students who delivered stellar performances in the Inter House Sports Meet organized in the school were also felicitated at the ceremony. The notable player motivated the students and his inspirational words ignited a spirit of sportsmanship among them. A fan moment with their hero was witnessed across the room as the students enthusiastically took autographs and shared the same frame with him.

To promote the same ingenuity and creative insight, a spectacular confluence of Science and Mathematics- SCIMA exhibition was organised in the school. The event was truly a display of the interconnection and interdependency of the two ingenious subjects. Parents and spectators were thrilled to witness innovation in excellence at work.
