The 75th Independence day was celebrated with great solidarity when students of Class IX expressed obeisance to the unsung heroes of India’s struggle for independence.

To keep the spirit of the Independence day aflame, our vivacious students and teachers paid a sublime tribute to our majestic nation through enthralling dance recital.

To commence the celebrations for the 75th Independence Day, a storytelling session was organised by our teachers.

St. Thomas’ School, Dwarka organised “War of Words”, an inter-school online debate on the theme, “Pandacademics- Education in the new normal” for the students of classes IV to XII to understand the changing dynamics of education system. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of exemplary orators from 109 renowned schools from across the country. Participants battled with their wits on myriad thought-provoking topics of debate including, “Home schooling is better than learning at school”, “Virtual Assessment- Sorted or Distorted”, “Digital India is not prepared for digital education”, etc. They presented their well-articulated thoughts and spoke enthusiastically to make an impact. The virtual verbattle was indeed a treat for the ears. We congratulate all the winners and wish them all the best for their future as it’s true, only thoughtful and committed citizens can change the world.
