Model United Nations has become one of the most popular activities among the students. And what makes it different from the other activities in the school is the ‘’team spirit’’ that it generates, which brings students together. Every award you win as a delegation, every trip to a conference, everything you accomplish together, creates an eternal bond. 

Students attend Model UN conferences because it’s fun – they just happen to learn something along the way. And when students have fun while learning, what they learn is more likely to stick. 

Model UN reinforces what students learn in the classroom. It activates students’ imagination and creativity – activities that students are naturally inclined to do. In the classroom, students learn from their teacher. At conferences, students learn from each other. The conference does not replace the classroom – the conference complements the classroom. Students have to internalize what they learn in class and deliver that information through speeches, caucusing and resolutions.

Students of St. Thomas’ School Dwarka actively participate and win awards & recognition for their research and deliberations at various Model United Nations as well as Youth Parliaments held across the Delhi-NCR.
